This is our favorite project as we have the pleasure of demonstrating customers how to use I3 while focusing on their production data. We view I3 training as a tool to assure that customers, who invested in I3, realize their ROI asap. We believe that a ‘hands-on’ training is the best way to learn how to use and understand new technologies and tools. Consequently, while typically trainings are done on a lab environment (such as petstore etc), We customize the training to the customer’s needs based on the customer’s production data. We make sure that at least 50% of the training is devoted to hands-on labs. In all the classes We have delivered so far, the customers used I3 to identify and solve problems their production was experiencing at that time. This way, customers get both the knowledge to use I3 as well as some (free) tuning recommendations.
Trainings last typically 3-4 days, depending on the different I3 products that were installed, and are run at the customer’s site. In order to customize the training and create the hands-on lab, We spend an additional 1 day before the training preparing the class. This day is usually done via webex.
